Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 25, 2026

LinguaFlow is operated by an individual (sole proprietorship), not a registered company. This policy explains what information is collected through the app and how it's used. It's written to be accurate and transparent, but it is a template, not a substitute for advice from a lawyer — especially given that students may use this app.

1. Who We Are

LinguaFlow ("we," "us," "our") is a language-learning web application available at linguaflowlearning.com. This policy applies to anyone who creates an account or otherwise uses the app.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

Learning activity

Payment information

If you purchase a paid plan, payment is processed entirely by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not see, collect, or store your full card number, CVC, or other full payment card details — Stripe handles that directly. We do receive limited information from Stripe needed to manage your subscription, such as your plan type, subscription status, and a Stripe-assigned customer ID.

Technical storage

Account and progress data is stored in a secure database (Supabase) on our servers, protected by authentication and access controls so that only you can see your own information. This means your account works from any device or browser you log into — it is not tied to a single device.

3. How We Use Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

4. Children's Privacy (Under 13)

LinguaFlow is designed for students in grades 6–12 and adult learners. Some students, particularly in grades 6 and 7, may be under the age of 13.

If you are under 13, an account must be created and managed on your behalf by a parent, teacher, or guardian — not by you directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 without that involvement.

Parents and guardians may contact us at any time (see Section 9) to review, correct, or request deletion of information associated with a child's account.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third parties to operate LinguaFlow. Each has its own privacy practices, governed by their own privacy policies:

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including the use of HTTPS encryption for data in transit and restricting database access to authenticated server-side functions. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention & Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. We will delete your information within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain certain records (e.g., payment records) for legal or accounting purposes.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of LinguaFlow after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
